Pakistan's Musharraf, who was facing impeachment by the Pakistani parliament has announced his resignation. Musharraf has been one of the strongest allies of the United States as far as the war against terrorism is concerned. How do you think would his resignation effect the politics in the region and the relationship between Pakistan and the US? He said that he was not afraid of facing the impeachment but it was not in favour of the country. What are your opinions.......

lolz.. Mr. Musharaf is done with his games. He claimed he was fighting the war against terror when actually he was billing US for purchasing Pakistani Military hardware. End of a slippery customer, i would say.

Musharaf's reign began and ended. The story is very much the same with any shoddy dictators, especially from the military background.

A country of Pakistan's size has the potential to deal with its past, present and future. While an individual, at its helm, certainly impacts on its course for the duration of his rule, its destiny is not permanently beholden to any one individual. It is time Sharif, Zardari and the new leaders remember this, more than Musharaf.

Musharaf is passe. Zardari & Sharif, watch out..
